Hi Everyone!

I'm so far having some promising results with the program I am following.

In my book 28 Day BodyShapeover it talks about adding creatine to build muscle (the book is written for women). The author recommends 5g for 1 months (instead of preloading with it - I gues 5g daily for 1 months will be the same as preloading but without the hassle of frequent consumption)

The main question though is will creatine be benefital? There wa this girl I worked with that took it and she looked GREAT - her muscles popped out and her fat fell off.

BUT - my personal trainer said the some people have postive results with creatine - some people don't.

I know if you eat alot of red meat you will have more creatine already in your muscles so you might not benefit as much.

My main concern is looking CHUNKY from taking creatine.

I want muscle and I want the fat on the muscle to be gone.

If you're already getting good results, I don't see the point, personally.

I am not a big believer in supplements to "promote muscle growth". I would rather eat sufficient protein and get whatever I need from real food.

yes creatine can be beneficial but you realy do have to be working hard at the gym for it to be worth it. It doesn't make much difference between pre loading and not pre loading. One of the first things to notice with creatine is the muscles will retain more fluid giving the ilusion of muscle growth, you will be able to work harder/longer with heavy weights, this is where the muscle gain comes from, not the creatine itself. You are right, a high meat diet will provide plenty of creatine naturally and creatine is not a magic bullet.
