My calorie intake is stably at 1700, but I burn off up to 600 calories everyday at the gym; so my actual intake would be around 1100. Financial issues and summer school are preventing me from working out as much. If I were to continue eating 1700 calories a day and not burn off any calories I usually do, how much weight would I gain? I don't think I can seriously eat just 1100 calories everyday.
I read that one pound of fat is 3500, so eating an extra 500 calories per day will cause you to gain one pound a week. So surely I'd gain at least one or two pounds after a week of not working out.. but after that initial week, would I continue to gain it or would my weight just maintain?
Please help, I've been so stressed about this.
Thanks in advance.
