i would like a review of my workout too!

hi all, i would like some advice on what i can do more to lose weight or just anything. well i eat really good, drink water all day long, i run on the treadmill every night, 3 miles... i usually stay at 3.0 or 3.5 and sometimes speed it up. i heard that it is better to run but i just cant run that long... i also heard that it is best to walk on the treadmill first thing in the morning so it will burn more fat, is this true? i know i have been doing great i lost 5 pounds in about a week ina half, but still want to lose like 10 more pounds... i also go swimming and do a few laps... i also need to lose my lovehandles(hate em) but tryin to lose more belly fat before i work on my abs and love handles.... what advice can anyone give me? any feedback would be great and soooo helpful... thank you all
 
i just wanted to add wat i eat during the day...

when i wake up
iether some eggs or a banana

lunch
a roast beef sandwich with fat free mayo on whole wheat bread

snack
cottage doubles or banana or celery, also a salad

dinner
iether chicken breast with veggies or a thin steak with veggies

before i go to sleep i eat a bowl of special k cereal because it fills me up and keeps me satisfied until the morning
 
you'll find a lot of the answers to your first post in the stickied threads...

with regards to what you're eating - healthy eating means nothing unless you're stating iwthin your calories.. read the stickied threads in nutrition to get an idea of how many calories you should be having... then get an account at and learn how to weigh and measure your portions and keep track

I'm a fan of having balanced meals. Some protein, carbs and fat at each meal.... that is unless you're following a particular, packaged diet.

You'll run when you're ready. One is not better than the other. If one is not capable of running in their current state, then obviously walking is best for them now. As with all areas of this, everything has to be stated in context. I can't stress this enough.

Yea and no.

You'll use more fat for fuel during exercise.

But that matters none. Total calorie deficit at the end of the day is what matters. I'm not a fan of fasted cardio, assuming this is what you are referring to.

And what do you plan after the 10 lbs are gone? How will you maintain it?

Also, it seems like you place most of your emphasis on the number displayed on the scale. This is an error many make. I understand it but I also feel it's important to focus, firstly, on things like healthy, ability and definitely appearance. Scale is somewhere down around 4 or 5 in importance.

You can't pick and choose where you lose fat from, so I'm not sure what you mean by, "tryin to lose more belly fat before...."
