Okay so i saw everyones journals and i thought id give it a bash
Here goes......
So ive struggled with my weight for most of my life. I was bullied alot in primary school for it and twice as much in highschool which only made matters worse. Has i am and was a comfort eater, the more they teased the more i ate. Well since i was 12 ive dieted so many times ive lost count LOL Most times ill lose a stone or two, then ill quit my diet and it all goes back on and more.
So i left highschool and went along to college. And would you believe it i actually got bullied there to! You'd think people at 16/17 years of age would be more mature, apparently not though LOL So i left college and decided to take a year out which meant i had to find a job. Well the best job i could get was in a fastfood restraunt (kfc) Which SO didnt help my weight let me tell ya LOL i worked there for around 6 months and ended up at 220lbs my heaviest yet but i am 5"9 so i kinda carried it well.
Once i left it was a major reality check, i was going back to college in the September as i left in March. So i joined the gym and got stuck in LOL ive learned to love exercise, i think i may have become addicted
Its not a bad habit though right? LOL
Well i went to college this September 40lbs lighter and feeling great and im loving every minute of it. But my journey still isnt over with just over 30lbs left im certainly not going to give up now!
I'm struggling with the last few pounds but who doesnt? This site as been very helpful over the last few weeks when ive been close to breaking point
There are alot of inspiring stories from people on here and i hope to be one eventually. I dont have a set time for when id like to achieve my ultimate goal but it would be kool to finally be able to go on vacation and wear a bikini so hopefully June/July
If not then ill get there eventually. So heres my journal as of today.....
Well todays been a good day i got up bright and early and ran for a mile. I later on walked the dog (aprox 4 miles) I couldnt get to the gym today but i will be making up for it tomorow thats for sure!
So today ive ate the following:
Breakfast: ready break and a small banana
Lunch: bagel with low fat cream cheese and some mini rice cakes (yum!)
Dinner:Chicken with pasta and corn
Snack:Mini special K bites
LOTS OF WATER
And i think i may munch on some more fruit later LOL.
