did really well today at my parents' house for Christmas, with a fridge full of food and a lot of goodies. I did well with lean salmon, lots of vegetables, lots of water, a nice smoothie with yogurt for breakfast, a bowl of whole grain cereal when i got caught hungry in between meals - i usually would have gone off. anyway, between lots of water and a plan, I am feeling good. believe it or not, i actually had two different people say 'you have lost weight/you are looking great' and I am only 4-5 days in. Pretty cool i would say. i am off caffeine, off coffee, sweets, sugars etc. i was driving today with my son and he asked me why i couldnt stop smiling. i think i just felt great. maybe i felt free from the power of bad food.....it was a nice day to be asked that.....anyway, more water, rest, lost of fibre...lean proteins, fruit, veggies.....lets do this!
