I want to lose 58lbs! Help and advice needed!

Right , first off I will introduce myself. I am Tara, 21 from England. I weigh 208lbs and have lost 7lbs in the last two weeks. I work in an office over 40 hours a week and have been trying to fit in the gym around work. I try and go at least 4 times a week. I am watching what I am eating but sometimes find it hard to be healthy. I love fruit and veg, but I do find it hard to work it into my meals. I also have breakfast and only one other main meal which I know is bad for me.

Can anyone help with good, easy recipe ideas, especially that I can take to work, instead of stodgey sandwiches all the time! I need inspiration to lose weight, i've started so many times, lost around a stone and given up, this time I am sticking to it! I will put some photos on to show me now, and before I lost half a stone.

Any advice would be great!

Ok, for some reason it's not letting me put my pics on since losing half a stone, but I will add them.

Hi Tara and welcome! Congrats on your loss so far - 7 lbs is a great start!

There are a lot of things you can do to bring more interesting lunches - and also to add in some fruit and veg to those meals. First thing is ... do you cook? Do you like to cook? Or would you rather get ideas that are minimal cooking? I can help with both?

One thing that helps me add more fruit and veg is also to add them to snacks during the day. I always bring an apple to work with me - and 90% of the time that's my morning snack, sometimes with a bit of cheese and sometimes with some peanut butter spread on the slices. Or bring chopped veg with you to work - celery, carrots, broccoli, etc. and some hummus to dip them in.

I also love to make grain/pasta salads with veg in them. I make an orzo salad with cooked orzo, feta cheese, chopped spinach, chopped broccoli, and red pepper that I take to lunch with me a lot (I make a double batch of it and then have it 2x during the week). You can also do things with whole grain pasta and veg and even grilled chicken added, with some olive oil and spices. If you don't use a creamy dressing they don't need to be refrigerated, so you can stash them at your desk.

I also love to make soup for lunch - even in the summer time, but more in the winter. I make gazpacho in the summer time (cold tomato/veg soup) and sometimes a cold butternut squash or pumpkin soup (with cinnamon flavor and slightly sweet, or with curry or paprika for a more savory, spicy flavor), and more hearty soups and chilis in the winter. You can add all kinds of veg into soups and they're not even noticeable.

Let me know what you like and I'll be happy to make more suggestions! :)

Hi body magic can help you if you give it a try,You can have that baggin body that you may be looking for instantly that will boost your confidence. What body magic does is push the fat thats in places where they don't belong to places they do, like your butt and breast area. Now don't get me wrong body magic is no quick fix,you do see results the moment you put the garment on you would go down 2-3 dress sizes in min.As you where the garment 6-8 hours daily you will actualy lose weight.along with taking the livive product that takes care of the inside as you drink it which has berries and other fruits in there. Then you will inhance your beauty on the in and out much more.

I like to try to bring left overs from dinner to eat for lunch.. however lately my husband's been doin' all the cookin and he hasn't made enough to have any left overs.

Cottage cheese and cucumber slices is a good, quick, easy lunch though. esp for hot summer days. :)

Thanks every one for your lovely replies so far! I am going to try and do a 'weight in pictures' diary of my weight loss, I just got in from the gym just now, burnt of 620cals. Thanks so much Kara, for your dietary advice, It's great to know you are not alone and there are a lot of people out there wanting to lose weight also! I do like cooking but don't have alot of time on my hands!

Here are some pictures I am so ashamed of but this is where it begins! Goodbye belly, thunder thighs and love handles!
