I usually do not complain about about things, but lately I have been bummed and haven't been exercising, I had an excuse a few weeks ago- my doctor told me not to loose weight, and for some reason I stopped exercising as much as I did because of health issues but now I can, but I am not. I guess I just got out of the grove of things, and I feel so bad like I am wasting time when I could be loosing weight. Also, I am not eating as healthy as I should.

I was wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar and might have some advice on what to do , and what things could get me back into the groove easier. I read the thread about workout clothes and thought about buying some to "motivate" me, any other ideas?

I have been maintaining and not gaining! So thats good! I am ready to loose again, I know I can maintain at least :p
 
Well first off, let me say, take a look at your signature! You have come so far already, you're over halfway to your ultimate goal, you cant give up now! :)

Buying workout clothes can help a lot. I feel like when i pick up these things, I have to use them or I almost feel bad they are sitting there, unused.
Also, try exercising every now and then for a week or two, even if you dont' feel like it. For me, i get into moods where exercising is the last thing i want to do. But I push myself through it, and i then remember why I started all of this in the first place, which encourages me to work out again.
 
why arent you eating ashealthy as you should...

the key to exercise -is find something that you enjoy - and it doesn't have tob e standard phys ed class exercise - Dance... hula hoop... Jump rope... Skip when no one's looking (because you look pretty silly, but it's knda fun) Go outside n the grass and spin til you get dizzy and then turn somersaults... Find something you enjoy doing and you will do consistently... and basically pace yourself...
 
Well Mal, the reason isn't a good one but. My doctor has recommend me to eat lots of more salt ( I have the whole story in my weight loss journal) so I have been picking some foods higher with sodium but higher with other stuff as well.
