I'm back! I'm not sure if better than before, but I think I'm back with a greater appreciation of what this board can do for me.
I signed up in 2007, as you can see from my information, and I was doing relatively well. I'm a hard case, because I have PCOS, so it's required not only exercise, but a change to my diet to help some of those symptoms.
This has truly been a journey for me. I heard a lot of people discuss how their weight loss wasn't just something you changed and poof, it was done, but rather a fundamental change in your perception of yourself and habits and lifestyle.
I'm learning that's the case with me, too. I thought it was just a question of changing one thing in my life (exercise or diet) and poof, I would be done.
It's been much harder, much more complicated, and I think it's changing how I perceive myself and what I am capable of.
So, I want to say hello to everyone and I'm happy to be back here. I hope I can continue to change and grow through this journey and to finally come out on the other side and better and healthier me.
