OMG i think i gained everything back in one night!!! it was a lot of fun though but i totally let loose and lost all self control!! I need serious help, is there anyway to counteract what i did, can i like not eat anything all day today??? or just eat very strictly?? or work out for 5 hours??? ohh man!! I don't know alot of this loosing weight stuff.. But I know ya can't beat yourself up about it.. It was like when I tried to quit smoking a thousand times.. You know what you did was not right for you.. so you have to learn from that..and go forward..

Red is right. Don't beat yourself up about it...you'll just feel worse. Now that the night is over...just kick up your exercise a knoch so that you can make up for what you did...as long as you know what you did was bad you'll be ok...and eating good at a family get together isn't really all that bad...just remember your limitations.

You'll be fine

Dont worry- I'm sure you didn't gain it all back. Just be sure to drink plenty of water to flush out your system (since liquor will dehydrate your body and salty food will make you hold water) and continue a good diet with excercise.

The past is behind you. Definitely do not not eat today, that would be extremely bad. So you had a good time, oh well. Just move forward and move on.

definitely do not not eat today

Even with a double negative, I'm agreeing with Tony here.

Don't skip eating. Just move forward and take it one meal at a time.

Howdy, Don't get upset over it just fight back I had a day
like that last Monday and I doubled my work out and that took care
of it I didn;'t have to skip any meals ect.Just hop back on now
don't wait till the next day.You can do it. Tammy

It's okay.

Did you weigh yourself? You might see that it did less harm than you think.
Determine to do well today, and the splurge won't keep you down.
We're all rooting for you!! :)

One slip won't kill you. The walk to your ideal physique is a long one. Never-ending actually, IMO. Trip and fall. So what. Stand back up and start walking again.

Failures are those who trip and fall, and never stand back up. Strong people fall, learn, and stand up and start walking again with more knowledge.

You will be fine.

Thanks guys,. I actully had 2 bad days because yesterday i was feeling pretty bad LOL, i dont drink much at all, so i was a little under the weather, so i didnt work out, but i did eat. i couldnt starve myself, HA theres no way, but today im back, im gonna drink a ton of water and workout tonight for an hour, thanks for the support though, i appreciate it so much!!

I've gotten to where I am today because of failure. I've tested so many approaches to dieting, weight training, cardio etc....and have failed miserably at many of them. If I could have $1 for everytime I fouled up with cheating on my diet I'd be a very rich man.

I strongly agree with Steve and the above posts. Look past it and carry on.

LV...I agree with Steve too on that. That's were I get my moto about my ticker from. "Without Struggle There Can Be No Progress" When I was in Junior High my 8th grade b-ball coach told me this right around tournament time. That quote has stuck with me ever since. Inorder to win you must fail first.:)

Exactly, without failure there can't be success.

Failure makes us stronger and smarter.
