(Extra Info- I drink way too much soda, I'm like addicted how do I stop drinking it?)

Hey man, good news! You're 15, that means your metabolism should be in awesome shape! Get on a bicycle as often as you can. Go for rides at the park, ride it to school... Ride hard. Cut TV and video game time down to an hour or two max a day and pay attention to your diet. Buy fresh foods, chicken, fish, veggies. Stop drinking soda!!! Try unsweetened iced tea instead. Think about joining a sports team or a gym. It's great that you're trying this early in your life. You can do it. Just spend a lot of time outdoors. Go hiking, walking, fishing, jogging, biking. Be active and adventurous! Good luck buddy!

Having a whole regimen will be very overwhelming if you already don't have the determination. What you can do first is to lower the amount of soda you drink. A good way to stop drinking soda is by limiting the amount you drink per day. Example, if you drink 4 cans a day, drink 3 cans every other day until you have the discipline to only drink 3 from now on.

I used to drink a huge amount of soda and I did things the other way round...

My first step was to switch to diet soda - because you can save a lot of calories that way... It was definitely the easiest first step for me... I fully accept that diet soda is not what you would call healthy - but I accept that I am only human and a long way from perfect...

I realised that I needed to drink more water (the recommendation for people who are doing everything right is to drink 1 ounce of water for every 2 pounds that you weigh)...

I then worked on increasing my water consumption to aim to get it up to that level...

Naturally - it took a while to get it there......

Basically I set a daily target of water... Once I had drank that amount of water I could have soda...

Someone who weighs 200 pounds gets a target of 100 ounces of water... That is a lot of water... By the time you have drank that - there isnt time to drink too much soda. It really helped me to ration it...

please, show me how could I publish the ebook..

As you can see - there are definite rules that would prohibit you posting that.

I do not set those rules - they are passed down by the owner of the forum.

If I chose to ignore something that broke the rules - it would be picked up with one of the other mods.

That would happen unless the owner of the boards had given us an instruction that something should be allowed.

You could click on the contact us tab at the bottom of the page and ask the owner of the boards to post in the mod area that it should be allowed. It would be unusual for a new member of these boards to be granted such a privilege.

Hello Jason! As I don't know your height I would say if you are short you can lose the first 10-15 pounds pretty easily by cutting down on things which I will write below. If you are tall and have flab in places but aren't really "fat fat" it will be harder. Also once you start losing weight it becomes a bit easier to get into a routine. To cut down on sodas you need determination, that's the only thing that you need. Look at the calories in them, its a lot and that is what is preventing you from losing weight, SODA IS THE ENEMY.!! :) Try drinking sparkling water, its so much more refreshing than plain water. Buy some low fat squash if you like.
First you should mostly do cardio , so get your heart pumping. Maybe have one or two days when you do lifting or pushups to gain more muscle.
Join sports teams like football or basketball, It really does help.
To get motivated I always think of the saying "Suffer the pain of exercise or suffer the pain of Regret" and it is really true. While working out listen to your favourite song or motivational songs. Look on youtube for remixes specially for exercising.
Because I don't know you personally I can't give you a lot of advice. I'm not a professional either.
But the rule of thumb is eat less calories , or eat better thing and exercise. As 500 calories in fruit is better than 300 in soda because you get nutrition and vitamins.
Look around youtube for exercise routines. Zeus workouts, purelivingpresents , sixpackshortcuts etc..
I hope this helps you and no rest is worth anything except the rest that is earned. Good luck!
