i read this thing somewhere... is it true??

i read somewhere that exercising twice a day gives u the benefits of exercising once a day for three months... IN THREE WEEKS!! and apparently, one of these sessions need not even be a full-fledged hour-long workout, a short 10minute intense aerobic session(like skipping, jogging...) is perfect. could this be true?

i read it in the fitness page of a reputed local newspaper, so it can't be bullshit. but it does sound too good to be true... so... any theories?

yeah... it DOES seem too good to be true, doesn't it? it was posted on the notice board of my aerobics centre... and when i saw it i started jumping up and down :) cause my schedule DOES incorporate 2 aerobic sessions a day :) for a moment i ACTUALLY believed im going to be all toned and buff in a month :p

well sure it is better to incorporate mini sessions, so you won't get as tired. I try to walk more during the day to add to my 40 min exercise routine- at a moderate-fast pace. but I don't know if it really is that amazingly easy? maybe it depends on each person as we all have different metabolisms and burn calories differently.

After having children I had to do this (not by choice lol) and have been surprised by the results.

I put everything I've got into my exercise sessions as I am sometimes lucky to get in a whole 20 minutes. I think it depends what exercises you are doing and how much you are going to push yourself.
