I need some advice on a workout to meet my physical needs

I'm just now starting a diet plan, and in order for it to work I obviously need to incorperate some exercise into my daily routine. However, in the past the biggest thing that deterred me was extreme muscle pain after over-exerting myself.

I currently weigh 297 pounds, I am male and I need to know what I can do to start an exercise program that will give me results, but not kill me! :svengo:

The results I'm speaking of is obviously not losing 20 pounds in 2 days, but I want to start feeling less fatigued so that I actually feel like living. :D
 
Do read the stickied thread in this forum and ask questions based on that.. the threads should give you the basics on where to start...

the key to any exercise program is to start and be consistent with it... that will get you results..
