I need help

Im desperate to lose weight. I tried everything. I was watching the Today Show and a story came up about green coffee bean extract. Helps you lose weight without dieting and exercise and it naturally lowers blood sugar. Is this true? seems too good to be true. <edited>

If it feels too good to be true - it is.

If people were going to drop weight by taking this simple pill with no dieting or exercise - every weight loss clinic in the world would close down, weight loss surgery would be ended overnight and people like me would just eat all their favourite food and take the pill and not have our weight double and go back to where it was...

Unfortunately - none of that has happened...

A few people are pushing it as a "get thin quick" scheme - and some people are gullible enough to hand them money.

Lots of people say that they tried everything... Most people that say that do not take up regular exercise and carefully count their calories keeping them at an appropriate level and stick to it long term... People give up easily and then announce that they tried it and it didnt work.

Very few of them have a medical problem that makes things tougher - and they should consult their doctor about investigations for things like thyroid problems etc. The vast majority do not really want to spend time and effort exercising every day or miss out on their favourite food.
 
If you want to lose weight - read up on exercise and nutrition, keep coming to the forum and try to lose weight using traditional methods... They work.
 
Honey it's hard but once you accept that the ONLY way to lose weight is to create a calorie deficit (3,000 = 1lb of weight lost) then you have taken your first step towards success! Looking for quick fixes like this one is only being in denial about the fact that you're going to have to need willpower and motivation to drop the pounds. You're not the only one who looks for quick fixes like this, that's why there are so many of them. But they just don't work unfortunately :(

Diet, exercise, or a combination of them both... this is the only way!
