I need help!

Okay so I've been working on cutting myself down for a couple of months now. I just started my fitness journal on here last week though. And I've been doing okay, but I have a big problem.

So I'm not at home right now. I'm living with my Grandma for the summer half way across the country, where I was born and I have a lot of family here. Since I have a lot of family here I typically spend the weekens with my aunt and uncles and their families that I haven't seen in a long time.

Now here's my problem. I eat, I'd say, well if not very well during the week. I'm dedicated and I don't have too much trouble telling my grandma I'm full or I don't want dessert. But during the weekends when I'm at a aunt and uncles house they always give me really unhealthy food and insist on me eating more. I'm a 'growing boy', but I don't want to eat it. I have so much trouble telling them this because they're so nice and I don't want to hurt their feelings.

As a result I typically lose 3/4 of the progress I make during the week on the weekends. It's frustrating.

Do any of you have tips or advice on how to deal with my relatives who seem to think I have a hollow leg I fill food with?

Stand your ground and say you're trying to loose weight, surely they'll understand?
If not, still stick to your guns.

What I have done on occasion is say thank you, and ask if I can take it for later (sometimes I even bring containers or bags). What you do with it after that is up to you, and the pushers feel like they did their good deed of giving you food.

I like that, thanks!

That's a great idea!
