I need help !

Hi everyone,

I'm sanctifyer's wife :D
I'm 4'11" tall, I currently weigh 122lbs
My goal is to get to about 110lbs

My current example diet is as follows:

breakfast:
A smoothie with banana, apple, oats, skimmed milk, berries (husband makes it for both of us)

mid morning:
piece of toast with a marg based on olive oil (Olivio).

lunch:
fruit, snack-a-jacks (rice cakes - less than 10% fat :p )
light yogurt
sometimes with diet coke
pitta bread (1 or 2) with lettuce, tomato, cucumber..


afternoon:
I work in a daycare, so I just pick at the food the kids are eating :D
(could be pasta, rice etc)

dinner:

anything really (chicken, pasta, mexican food, homemade indian food), always with veg..


I dont eat fish or many other meats apart from chicken, and very occasionally beef...(more of a vegetarian)


I excercise every morning for 30 mins on a stationary bike, and throughout the day im always walking around and going up and down stairs :D

I was wondering if I could enhance my weight loss by changing the way I eat rather than my exercise routine...most of my fat is around my tummy and lower back ( I've never been nice and thin around that region :( )

I've only lost 2 lbs in 1 month.. :(

Please could you give me some ideas/recommendations

Definitely - diet is the key factor in fat loss.

You really need more protein, way more.
It's best to eat 5-7 meals per day - so bring some food to work in a small cooler. And a piece of toast doesn't count.... a piece of toast w/ natural PB and a banana is good; a piece of toast with some cottage cheese is good; etc.

You can find a lot of info on this if you do a search on the forums, too.
