Hi I'm Sunny Rae, I'm 27 years old and I need to lose weight, my problem is though I don't have the support of anyone. I thought about putting an add in the paper for someone that lives anywhere in the USA to workout with me while on the phone visiting. I think I can do that... I need a partner...

I have tried so many times to lose the weight. I weight 355lbs and I want to be at 130 in June of next year. Think it's possible? I think so, but I just need help. It just feels like I'm not even a person anymore. If anyone has any tips or wants to be my partner cause they are the same way, then just let me know. I'll pay the long distance charges... lol

Add me if you have yahoo, the id is SunnyLovesDaniel
and just time in support so I add you to the right place. I'm looking forward to having everyone support. Thank You

And another thing, I would like to do this 2 days a day around 4am est, and 2pm est. So let's her our butts of the couch and do this. I look forward to hearing from you soon... :)

Hi Sunny Rae!

It's great that you want to be healthy. I do worry about your goal though, 355 to 130 (-225 lbs) is not very realistic I'm afraid, but it's great that you're shooting for the stars. Have you talked any of it over with your doctor, or seen a nutritionist? If you can, doing so is a great first step.

The goal should be to lose around 2-3 lbs a week for a while. Try setting a smaller goal like I do if that helps. And this is important: get moving in whatever way you can. I know it's tough at first, but any sort of walking (start small of course, even 1/8th mile) helps you get in the habit.

Just stick with it!

you can do this - just take it one d ay at a time... and make changes one day at a time...

Get yourself an account at or and use it to record your daily calories - weigh and measure everythig you put in your mouth... and keep doing it - slip ups will happen but don't let a single slip up derail the entire day.. just keep moving forward...

a goal of 1 percent of yur body weight a week is a reasonable amount to lose - for some folks smaller goals do work - that approach didnt work for me - I went with milestones but have never lost sight of where i want to be...
