I haven't posted in a while but here's my progress!

Yea, you're right and since hearing that my progress is not sufficient, I am pushing just that extra bit :D

Well, let's call this November the current goal, I do intend to continue after though.

Anyway I'm off to do some weights. :jump1:

Good Morning, Juicy Rooter.

I was thinking about you.

How is the fine young man, this morning?

I sincerely hope you obtain the wishes and demands of your heart, and are able to tap into your soul to bring it about.

Decide that you will live your day with happiness and not let negative thoughts steal it.

Look at yourself in the mirror and say: “I’m a positive person. I won’t let negative thoughts control me".

Emotions will either serve or master, depending on "who" is in charge. If you wallow in sorrow, you can ruin your tomorrow.

I’m a winner in life, and I will earn any goal I desire.

May you walk your path with this:

When you have the courage to turn within and learn about the "your" inner laws of being (i.e. what worked in the past and what didn't) and take the positive and constructive aspects, you can you truly experience satisfaction in your life.

Ordinary people do ordinary things.
EXTRAORDINARY people do EXTRAORDINARY things!

Each day holds the spark that ignites the fire of future fulfillment.

Will you put that spark out or add the fuel which lights into brilliant flames?

Get excited and enthusiastic about your own dream.

This excitement is like a forest fire -you can smell it, taste it, and see it from a mile away.

When you want your goal badly enough, feel the intensity of it, let it fuel your waking thoughts and actions, let it influence you in all ways possible and let nothing get in the way of achieving it."

I truly believe that if we envision a goal and stay positively focused, that anything is possible; it's important to learn from past failures; whether it be in relationships, career or family.

Without taking a risk and facing our fears, then an individual will never grow and will only stay stagnant.

You have read this quote many times, and I have stated this quote in many posts on the forum:

"If you fall 7 times get up 8"

Here are some thoughts on it:

Your goals – if worthwhile – will not come easy. There is no accomplishment without work, and no “win” without something to beat.

It’s easy to get discouraged when roadblocks appear-it’s only natural.

You’ve invested time and emotion into creating the perfect plan, and then something has to come along and muck it all up. Sometimes, though, all you have to do to beat that barrier is to get back up and move forward again. Goal obstacles are like the Wizard of Oz – they’re a lot less intimidating once you see them up close. Next time you take a step back, don’t let guilt pile it on top of your previous “stumbles”.

Just take two steps forward and you’re still further along than you were before. It doesn’t matter how many walls you face. You only have to get the better of that last one.

If you fall.........get the hell back up.

Being defeated is often temporary, giving up makes it permanent.

Don't let failures draw the line in the sand for additional progress. Failures can do just this. They can STOP ANY FURTHER potential for progress in the goals you seek. And, YOU decide which happens.

When you fail do you find it hard to get back up? If you do, you are completely normal. Many people use failure as an excuse to give up. This is by far the worst killer to the human soul.

It is important to understand that failure is a part of the growth process.

Think about this example. How many times does a small child fall over before they finally stand and eventually walk? Or when learning to ride a bike? How many scraped knees and bruised egos do they encounter when trying to learn something new?

Be like this child full of eagerness, innocence, will, and flying rebellion to succeed, and take risks. There is so much to learn from a child we tend to lose when grow into adults.

A small child fails countless times--but they succeed in the end, but somewhere along the way, most of us lose that ambition to keep trying until we succeed. The next time you are defeated, think about it as part of a process.

Get the hell up and try again and again until you move forward.

I leave you with this thought:

The best motivation is self-motivation. One person says, "I wish someone would come by and turn me on!"

What if they don't show up?

The most brutal power one can possess when controlled and used wisely, is the power within. You don't have to worry about this physically showing up. You walk in the body that can provide it on its own.

I hope this day finds you all well. I wish you all much happiness and joy.

May no bad luck or mishaps enter your life. I wish that your internal spirit will rise up and meet and exceed all of your personal expectations and aspirations you want and desire.

The really happy and self contented people are those who have broken the chains of procrastination, those who find satisfaction in doing the job at hand.

They are over flowing with eagerness, zest, will, desire, and productivity.

You can be, too-----------ROCK IT! ROCK YOURSELF to your GOAL!

SMILE and throw procrastination down the AISLE ; when you reach your goal it will be WORTHWHILE!

Stand proud and confident! Do you take yourself at your own personal estimate or what the worlds "thinks" is your estimate?

Your hardships and troubles in your goal path will be worth it. All you have to do is PERMIT yourself to the commission of the requirements of reaching your goal.

I want you to know you have it, Juicy Rooter.

Find victory in your efforts.

We generally hear about how persistence is often the key to success.

But what do you do when you've been striving for so long that it seems like your goal is never going to see light?

How do you deal with the fear that you're about to fail?

Simple - Give it just one more shot.

And then one more.

And, then again.

This one more shot is infinite.

This is the difference between the successful and unsuccessful.

Come on! Juicy Rooter! Its about attitude! Yep!

Proper attitude!

Keep your ATTITUDE GLUED and be RENEWED!

Don't be mentally BOO-BOOED with improper ATTITUDE!

And, one more thing young man:

Goals can impact every area of your life. Pursuing goals takes hard-work, perseverance, and dedication. Sometimes it is easy to see the obstacles that lay ahead of your mission. Try to look at them as challenges. Set goals, plan for success, and embrace each challenge as a chance to grow. Remember that obstacles are part of the goal-setting process and shouldn’t be considered failures.

ROCK ON!

Come on!................Peak around the corner and see trouble coming, and then slap the shiaaaaaat out of it!

I do! But I do head butts. Which explains a lot :)

I wish you the absolute best in life,

Chillen

And, one more thing, young man:

Let it be known, that in order for "instances" of a lifestyle change to occur, a diet and exercise routine needs to be implemented to such a "personal degree that it applies enough of the person to get the goal one seeks completed".

Diet and exercise IS the MOST important thing TO a lifestyle change, and is one of the elements that CAUSES----the lifestyle to change. Personal changes in diet and fitness is the ACT and facilitator of change.

And, "personal seriousness" has to be at a tolerable level to get the frigggggggen job done.

A lot of turmoil, dropping out, and depression, can be terminated with applying education within diet and fitness INTO ones lifestyle--correctly.

Act........not talk.....works and rocks

Yea, baby......lets get it......no excuses.....just rocken and a rollen.:)

Case closed :)

Best wishes,

Chillen

Don't be afraid of some fat gain, it's inevitable, but it will come with muscle gains. You can easily reverse the fat gain further down the road, and preserve the muscle...you just have to be willing to go through a few cycles...

Thank you for these words of wisdom and help Chillen! I'll keep this in mind when I am feeling demotivated :) As for now.. things are going just fine, I've been eating plenty and lifting heavier weights which I actually feel has made a large difference already. I.E. my muscles feel more worked after lifting the heavier weight (makes sense!)

And "MarkMyWords", you're quite right that I shouldn't be afraid of weight gain- I'll also keep these words in mind.

thanks again guys.
