Hi guys, my name is Caz and I'm a 21 year old Aussie
Lose weight - go on a cruise. Basically my jam right there. Currently 70 kilos (don't know pounds, sorry) would like to be 60 at the least. Ideally I would like to be around the 55 mark, which is healthy for my height. Hopefully I'll like to have the weight off by summer (December here) but in a perfect world it'll be gone by spring.
I'm not happy with my body and was really proud of the fact that I lost about 14 kilos a couple of years back. I've put on about half of that on again and am really unhappy with that and don't want to get any closer to what I was. I tend to be a comfort eater and I've had a rough couple of years emotionally and am now at uni, which is putting a heap of stress on. But I have gotten better recently with the way I handle things.
Originally I lost the 14 kilos through taekwondo training 5 times a week. But ended up leaving there as I wasn't getting along with the guy running the place (super long story). A lot of the reason I put weight back on was because I wasn't training as much because I didn't want to be around this guy. I've joined a gym again and want to get into cardio classes, I need to run with work on occasion and have noticed my fitness drop of recently so not happy with that. I'm also trying to eat healthier than I have been of late.
Uni has gotten me fairly stressed, first semester, first year and I'm a comfort eater so that was easy to see where the weight came from. Previously I've never had any goal. I just wanted to lose weight. But with no goal I just lost sight of what I wanted to achieve. So my goal this time is if I lose 10 kilos I'm going to send myself on a cruise because I also haven't been on a proper holiday in 4 or 5 years. I have a fair amount of savings
I have a good kitchen again which I haven't had in a year or so, so I get to cook again which is really exciting. Difficult on a student budget though. Worse is when I have to go out straight from uni or appointments to work. I don't go to the office so I can't take lunch and I can't afford the healthier options and I have to eat because work can be full on and I never know what I'm in for so yay.
I really don't know what else to right so I might just leave it there.
