ok so since janurary 12 since i been dieting and exercising i have lost 53 pounds on schedual... i got 47 pounds left to lose and the deadline is end of june... I am worried i won't make it.. I am still doing the program and started liftin weights now... but i cant help but worry if i wont make it to 296 which i wanna make so bad.. or atleast under 300... any thoughts?

Why are you on such a rigid timeline? You're doing awesome so far, congratulations! If you keep stressing about not making a 'deadline', you're going to mess yourself up.

thank you for your statement..... I just cant help worrying because whe nmy timeline up I go back to the bahamas which is my home to greet all my friends again and start my life... so im really paranoid for a reason i dont know lol...

Try not to focus on the end goal; and please, don't use the word deadline! If you want this to work, and keep on working, it needs to be a lifestyle change. And believe me, if you keep it up, no matter what you've lost by your trip, you will feel more confident, and be so proud of yourself!!

DQ is ABSOLUTELY right!!

This isn't something you do for awhile, then once the weightloss is achieved, go back to the way things used to be. That's precisely why people regain their weight when they're "done" dieting.

You've averaged 4.4 pounds lost per week, and while that does happen in the higher weights, as you lose weight, it is not as easy to continue losing at that rate - nor would it be recommended or healthy.

Concentrate on eating better, exercising and making this part of your life - you might not reach your June goal, but understand that your first goal might not have been reasonable.

You've done an amazing job to date and whatever your progress, I'm sure you're friends will be proud and amazed!

Once again thank you ladies... and you need not have a worry!!! I already have started plans to continue my weight losing... but when i go back I'm going to slow down but you hit the mark when you talked about lifestyle change. I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK... fatty foods which i love disgust me now.. well most of um lol because i know how to read labels and know what does what. But its going to be harder to stay on my diet when I go back to nassau because my family down there wont be a big help like my mom who is the main reason I lost so much weight in the first place. I plan on getting to a "world strongest man" size, with all the giant muscles n such... Never am I going back to inactivity and bad eating habbits, I never knew how to eat and live and I learned from my trip here and even got closer to God too.. Its like a giant package and I see it as a gift from God for all the horrible days I had in my childhood(which was many).Praise Jah everyday.

Tom venuto recommends you make deadlines and goals and focus on them

And some deadlines are unreasonable and when it comes to weightloss, potentially unhealthy.

Only if you make them unreasonable.

Tom teaches to make goals which are challenging enough to work hard to reach, but not so challenging that they are unrealistic. Like lose 3% bodyfat in 2 months.

Geez EazyE...
Have you read the thread?

Yes, some deadlines you can actually make unreasonable.
Do not argue just for the sake of arguing.

I already told you not to quote my posts.

But yes to the OP, maybe you should change your goal, the more weight you lose the slower the rate of weightloss will become.
Maybe the same goal but set the date to December.

No you haven't - nor would it stop me if I wanted to.

December is much more reasonable - and healthy in the long run.

ok you all say december. but i got another question, if i keep doing the same things that I did to lose this much weight already will i continue to reach my goal or will it start to slow down and it gets harder for the pounds to shred.. I see nothing wrong with losing 100 pounds in like almost 6 months especially if you are someone my size.....
