I FEEL fat.

This thread's more of a question, really.
Today, especially, I just feel down. I look in the mirror some days and think "Hey, you look okay" but today... I didn't. I'm not sure if i've changed for the worse at all; probably not, but it's difficult to shake the feeling. It's not that I'm unmotivated, sometimes I'm OVERLY motivated. This isn't me saying 'I feel like giving up', not for one second. I never will. All I wanna know is, what do you guys do to cheer yourselves up?
Thanks.

Well, considering I have alot of FAT days, I record on my calendar everyday how much I weigh, my BP, and heart rate, I slacked off on this for a few months, but I am back to doing it everyday.

Whenever I am having an attack of the fat, I look over how far I have come. The numbers don't lie, so I tell myself, yeah you're feeling fat now, but look at how far you've come baby.

Seeing the weight loss on paper usually cheers me up, that an imagining fitting into my birthday outfit that I already have bought.:biggrinjester:

Don't look in the mirror when you are even slightly depressed.

I go to bed and sleep when i am depressed or if i can summon the energy i go and sit in the sun if its warming (and not gonna give me heatstoke) or i go and hang out in the garden and pull some weeds.

Gardening a really great activity for depression, providing you can find some energy just to get out there and dither about.

If you've got energy, do and exert yourself. Go to the gym, take a walk in a park, do something active.

Look out at the world beyond yourself. :grouphug:

In my experience, a good friend can really help through those "low" times. Also, do not worry, even if you feel fat one day, hit the scales; numbers don't lie :)

This.

If you catch yourself feeling down, go take a brisk jog. Something active. Aside from the endorphins, its a nice way to clear your head, and its some physical activity. This way you can feel good about doing something about the problem, instead of letting it eat away at you.

Heck, even if you need to walk, its a good start, and its something you can build on. My point is to go do something
physical to take your mind off whats depressing you.

Good luck on your journey!

Well, I'm not the person to ask, as when im feeling miserable i tend to sit on the computer, but in my opinion doing that makes you feel worse, so just do anything except staring at screens! I think I will take me own advice and start tidying my house, I'm sitting here in my nighty still with my stomach over my knickers and feeling minging. I din't have a shower this morning as I planned on dioing hard core house work, but was 5 hours ago lol.
