I don't wanna be a pencil-neck anymore!

I've always had a thin neck that contrasts against my average size body and I've decided it's time to do something about it. I was wondering if anyone could advise me of some good exercises to build-up my neck muscles?

Unfortunately I don't have a bench, only a set of 10lb dumbbells which I bought last week. I'm not necessarily looking to do exercises that only work my neck muscles in isolation. I'm really new to weight-lifting so any help is greatly appreciated!
 
There's a ton of information on weight training found in the stickie threads. I'd start there.

10 lb dumbbells that you can't add weight to though aren't going to do the trick, to let you know up front.
 
Unfortunately the dumbbells are non-adjustable. They're too light for me... But there you go.

Which threads would you recommend? I had a look at your stickied thread earlier.
 
Oh, there are too many threads for me to remember. I highly suggest reading through the 'words of wisdom' stickie created by TomO.
