I decided for better life. Hello!

About Me
I am 26 years old male. English is not my first language, so please bare with my misspelling and sentence structures. Currently, I'm 5'9" and weight at about 200 pounds. I am an avid computer gamer and have been playing video game for as long as I could remember. For the past couple years, I have gained almost 30 lbs. I think that is the reason why I gained so much weight is because of my time being spent on playing games. I would come home after work and play video games until bed time, snacking while playing. One day I realized I have trouble just to bend down to tie my unlaced shoes. Then it hit me, my stomach was preventing me from easily bending over and doing something very simple. I then started hating the way I look, and gets me very sad everytime I look at my self in the mirror.

The Begining
About a month ago, I realized how obese I have gotten. I wanted help. I was too embarrass to seek help in person, but I had no clue on what to do to help my self. I started searching the Internet and came upon this website through google. I started reading as an anonymous reader, and took some tips I could understand and started to work out. This website and the users inspire me to get small routines going. I have never worked out before in my life, and I could not do a lot of things mentioned in many threads.

Currently
At the moment, I'm working out everyday for 30 minutes working with 20 lbs dumbbells I recently bought. I have been trying to eat more veggetable and fish, and completely stop snacking. Also, I cut off soda and have been drinking nothing but water for the past couple weeks. My weight remains the same, so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. It discourages me that after exercising for 2 weeks I still have not seen any results, but I will not give up! I just wanted to introduce my self the the community first before I start posting questions. Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone who are here to be helpful for readers like myself; who are lost and really have no clues on what to do. Thank you and I hope one day I will be as knowledge as some of the senior members.
