I can't lose anymore

Let me start off by saying...I've always been a big guy. Football player build. Thing is, I don't play football. I decided to do something about it. Since December, I have lost 28 lbs (down to 228) and 3 inches on my waist. I combined weight lifting and cardio (both 5 days a week) and the results have been great. I've also changed my diet and have been very happy with the toning. But now my progress is at at a standstill. I've tried cutting my calories more, longer workouts, more protein, less bad carbs, more supplements and I can't lose that final 10 lbs or more importantly, 2 inches on my waist. What am I doing wrong??? Thanks

Your problem could be anything from medical to not working at the correct intesities. If you are working out hard, and reducing your calories..........your body will go into starvation mode and you will hold on to fat............there's your 10 pounds

You most likely hit a plateau. Just get a fresh routine and cardio program and then a new perspective on how many calories you need. Since you lost weight and body fat... you are not going to need the same amount of calories as you did in December.

There's less of you so you need less calories. Find out what you need using

Try posting your routine/menu here for people to look at as well. However I can tell you that you most likely need to bust through a plateau. :) That means changing your routine, upping weights varying cardio more so and re-checking on calories.
