I can never be motivated even though I’m miserable

I’m at my heaviest that I’ve ever weighed before 150 lbs at 5’6. (I have a small figure) I feel so bad and terrible but I still can’t find the motivation to loose weight, I just don’t seem to want to and at the same time I’m absolutely miserable. My parents are constantly eating Pizza ALL THE TIME and I love it, as well as doughnuts, candy, pastries and rolls. They won’t stop buying them either. Is there anything that I can do? Is ther anything thT I CAN

Maybe seeing a therapist would help? If you're feeling miserable about the weight, and can't seem to do anything about it, maybe you're really depressed.

I'm nowhere near your weight (I'm MUCH heavier), but that was my problem. I thought it was about the weight, but I was just depressed in general. I had to work through some of my other problems before I could deal with losing weight.

same here...i knew i was depressed (and possibly bipolar) but i never really thought that my weight had to do with it, but after talking with a therapist for a while, I started to have the motivation to lose weight...and now all we talk about is food (she's also on a path to lose weight)

There are also a ton of great free resources on the web in regard to motivation. i would try doing a Google search on motivation or "ways to stay motivated". there are a ton of very helpful techniques. Just go into it with an open mind. Something like a vision board (a board with pictures of your goals) may seem weird...but it helps.

Some thing i did as well was make posters around my room saying "I can do it!" and right my goal up on a white board for that month, and if i didn't reach it, i wouldn't give up because I had gotten so far...take things in a relaxed manner...it helps a lot

Yep, there will be plenty of sources out there to help with your motivation and happiness. You don't have to feel so sad...it's not your fate, you can fix it. Tricky about the food at home though. Are your parents overweight?
Can you afford to buy some of your own food? Maybe you could have one small slice of pizza and a nice big salad?
Exercise is great for your mood...do you think you could motivated yourself to start walking if it could help make you feel happier?

The ONLY thing that keeps me going is knowing that time is going to pass one day at a time regardless of whether I'm trying to lose weight or not.
