OooO my goodness, here I am again at my heaviest weight. *sigh* :toetap05:

5 years ago I was 193.5, my heaviest ever.. TODAY: 190.0

When on track and doing well, I seem to hold/get stuck at 170.0... My goal has always been to reach the LOW 160's and see if that is my Goal Weight.

I'm 5'8 ... Age 42 now.

Last October, I was almost at 170 and then my husband and I became sick with chronic bronchitis/sinusitis for 5 months!! During that 5 months of H-E-Double Hockey Sticks, anytime I started feeling slightly better and like it was about to pass and I would be WELL, I started having major dental problems/work. The worst 7 months of my life!

Once 100%, it has been so difficult to get motivated and back to the journey!

So, here I am at 190.0 ** Size 16 in Jeans ** 2X or Larger depending on Material/Cut in Tops/Blouses ** MISERABLE!

Even though I have battled my weight for 22 years, it still seems to shock me that I'm having to deal with it.

I take after all the women in my family on my mom's side. Before Giving Birth: Tiny/Skinny/Can Eat Anything - Never Gain An Ounce.

I was a healthy & naturally skinny string bean. Size 0 - 1 in jeans Small Tops. 110-115 lbs

Came home with newborn Size 11 ** The battle began.

I would KILL to be that shape and size now I tell ya! LMBO!!! ;)

Women, are we ever happy with ourselves?

Here I was so sad, shocked and repulsed all those years ago, and now as I see those pictures I'd give anything to be that size NOW! *sigh*

That was then.........Here I am now!

I joined here for support, to support others and to be ACCOUNTABLE!

At this time, I'm in this alone. I do not have a support system at home.

:waving:

Hi ya Butterfly! Thanks for visiting my journal. ;)

I can relate to the issues/set backs depression and anxiety cause. :hug2:

I also have OCD and that causes major problems bc I get so stuck/set in 1 routine.

The MIND is powerful...A Blessing/Curse I find....lol

I'm reading all kinds of books on the Mind by Joyce Meyer and that has helped me so much.

Have a Great Evening & Keep Pushing Forward!

Hi Stacy & welcome to the forum. You will get lots of support in here. It's a very friendly forum. I'm away at the moment, but will be home in a bit over a week & can "visit" more often. Welcome to the WLF team. Cheers, Cate

Hi ya & thanks so much Cate & Trusylver! :waving:

Right this second you could bounce a quarter off my rear-end due to all those squats.. :D Now, as this evening pushes along, that will change.. ;) lol

Time start all the choppin' for supper. I have a lot of prep-work.. Makin' my lemon pepper chicken stir fry with grated carrots, bell pepper, onion and then choppin' cucumbers and tomatoes for garden salads.

Also havin' steamed broccoli and I will serve the chicken over brown rice.

:driving: What a busy day! *Uggggh*

Friday is always my Fitness *Rest Day*

It's full of couponing, working on grocery list, running errands and ending with the grocery store.

I'm pooped...lol...

Weigh In: No change.. Still 190.0

Oh well.. I did good things for my body and that has to count for something.

I'm wondering if the stupid steroids/allergy pills (took the last doses on Tues) caused me to hold on to the weight.?. I got this bizarre rash from feet all the way up to my back.
Only thing the doc and I could come up with was that I bought new slippers via on-line (they have thick memory foam - I have plantar fasciitis) and maybe there was some strange chemical on them?

As soon as I washed them I started clearing up. Of course by that time I was already on meds as well..lol... Who knows?

Well, I will just work super hard to hopefully see a change by next weigh in. I have just started a Mini Goal as well which is posted in my sig.

Course you can do it! What chance has a bit of flab got over all the support on here eh? My husband has chronic bronchitis and I know how that can pull you down. You have such a positive outlook and good motivation. Best of luck to you Stacy. I almost forgot... welcome to you from the UK

Cate & Sophia: Thanks! I'm trying very hard to stay "positive." In the past I have had issues with bein' so extremely hard on myself.
I'm a Christian, so Joyce Meyer and her teachings of the Word have helped me a lot! For those that are not believers, you could so look at her as a motivational speaker. :)
She is BIG on NO Negativity.. Do not think it/speak it out loud. ;)

Tru: Thanks! So happy w/my fitness last week bc it was hard..hahaha! So out of shape at this point and it was not easy. lmbo! :smilielol5:

Polly: heehee! That's right, and boy do I need support. ;)

Hubby and I have been married 23 years (together as couple 25 1/2 yrs) and our son is 21. They are both overweight as well but they are not interested in "change."
Makes it hard when you are the only one wanting to change how you look at food, what to buy, cook and so on.
I'm sure hubby does not mean to be a saboteur, but he is always talking about his cravings and why I don't I pick this up or that - or go buy this/that fast food.... :ack2:

I stood my ground last week though and didn't give in to any of the temptations! Even when he mentioned Tex-Mex my FAV! lol

I don't have a group of friends to talk to/hang out with, so I'm a loner.. Past friendships fizzled out a long time ago due to hubby's hours.
He works graveyard and back when I had friends, we all had kids/boys and hubby sleeping during the day led to issues. (getting woke up)

I can understand it becoming frustrating when I always had to go to them and we couldn't use our home to give them a break.

Then, friends moved off and we had to move to AR bc hubby got laid off.. We lived there 3 years and then he got laid off there..

Thank the Lord we were able to get back home to Texas (almost didn't/got stuck there) and his new job seems stable!

We just have a completely different schedule than the norm and most do not understand it or want to work with it.

I'm even havin' issues with family members over it and they talk about me/isolate me..

Very sad... lol .... Oh well...

My ZuZu is my biggest Cheerleader!

When she see's me grab my water bottle she knows I'm fixin' ta work out and she gives me the cutest howl and bark, runs around in excitement and to me it seems like she tries to do the work out with me!!

When I'm on the yoga mat for floor sessions she lies right next to me.. heehee

Hi Stacy, your dog is the cutest thing ever! It´s hard to be the only one trying to lose weight, especially when the other people in your household are men (who can eat more than us anyway, mean!) but once all of you are used to it it will get easier. Until then: there´s us :) Good luck!

Hi ya LaMaria. ;)

She is spoiled rotten I tell ya and 100% Mama's girl. I treat her as though I gave birth to her! *snorts* I'm one of those crazy pet owners. lol

Thanks so much! :hug2: Glad to be here.

YES, so unfair! They can lose big/quickly too!
