:) I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who as supported me so far, my first posting seemed desperate and believe me it was but now i have myself sort of organised, i feel better and today i have made further changes like swapping to weight watchers bread, low fat cheese spread and i have eaten a bananna [WOW!] and now i am munching on a carrot. I realize it is going to be real hard work as i battled against having a sandwich [stuffing my face] or a bananna. The carrot came at the end of my craving attack, WOW! i am really happy that i can sense such attacks. Does anyone know why these happen? how long do they last? do you get them in the near future when you have lost lots of weight? I am now searching for foods that fill you for a long time like egg and bananna, any more foods i need to consider? i guess i am missing my full up feeling, whats the best drinking water to buy? i love fizzy pop, how can i make water fizzy? Thanks for all your help and especially making this the place to be. x :cheers2:

Good idea. Also, for a "full-up" feeling, think fiber!
I have found in these last few days that if I drink a small glass of skim milk, and pair it with some oatmeal (with splenda, or if you prefer more natural, honey for sweetness) and maybe half a banana, I can feel fuller a bit longer. With everything I have, I try to eat protein (like lean lunch meat, a boiled egg, some type of beans, etc.) and something bulky (like oatmeal, bran, popcorn, etc.)

Thanks Brenda, i am getting the hang of it, i am doing my shopping on Thursday so i will check out more fibre foods. I have cut down on my bread and that is a huge difference to my diet at the moment, i am on weight watchers bread.

Hiya, bodymatters, I have problems with emotional eating too. I'd like to stay in touch with you on here. Are you going to start a thread in the diaries?
