I am so proud of myself!

I have finally found methods that work for me. I have gone down from a size 22 to a size 18, and the 18s have to be held up by a belt. The last time I weighed myself (A month ago) I weighed 303. I haven't weighed myself since then cause we don't have a scale lol. I would love to see what I weigh, eventually I will buy a scale. And then I can update my tracker.

About 3 times a week my friend and I go hiking with our dogs over by the river. We go for about 7-8 miles, upping our walks each time we start feeling we go longer. Its great fun!

I have also started riding bikes with my other friend! We rode 7 miles the other day, and that is pretty good considering I hadn't been on a bike in 5 years prior!!

My eating habits have changed a bit. I still eat a LOT of food (I am a big girl, 6' tall) but I eat more veggies..and I do eat less often. But the exercise is what is helping me the most!!

I am starting to feel better about myself, because my clothes are not tight anymore. I used to wear men's screen tees cause I didn't feel comfortable wearing "girly" type shirts..but I am finally feeling better about what I wear, and how I look. Not THAT much better. I probably lost around 20 pounds, i still have a long way to go! My goal is 180. I am taking it one day at a time, that is also helping. Before I would get so anxious and nervous and it would mess my progress up (I have been on and off this forum saying this time I am going to do it! And never did...always came back weighing even more. But by taking it day by day, rather than planning so far ahead I get stressed, its helped! :)

i did take a before picture from a few months ago, at my heaviest..and I plan on taking a progress pic after I have weighed myself.

But for now I just wanted to update at my progress!

I do have some pictures from my hikes if anyone is interested in seeing them. (Let me know)!

Yay!

Congratulations! You must feel amazing! I'm new so I haven't lost any yet but I'm working on it. Keep up the good work!!

congrats! you go girl! I am glad to hear you taking this one day at a time, I think thats one of the BIGGEST reasons people get frustrated and fail at weight loss..the right attitude is key and you seem to have it. good luck!!
