I am new to ths,Hi

Hi! I am new to this forum! Everyday I wake up and say today will be the day I loose weight and it never seems to happen.I have a wonderful family,but I feel like I could do so much more if I lost weight. I weigh about 280 pounds Wow! When did that happen? I think I need to hear other peoples stories for help. I need to get my act in gear,so I could be here for my kids and husband.I am looking for advice. I work from home,I do a homedaycare,and could eat whenever I want to,which makes it very hard. Well I am looking foward to all the wonderful advice.

I know you can do it this time :) Before you know it the weight will be dropping off and you will be feeling sooo much happier and healthier!

Welcome!

When I'm at home, I tend to eat a lot more than when I'm working at the office. I think it's because I lack a defined schedule for eating (unlike work, where I eat before I go, eat lunch at noon and eat when I come home). Now that I've set myself up with "meal times" for the weekends and I know when I'm supposed to eat and it cuts down on boredom eating. If I truly am hungry, I have healthy snacks that I can eat, but otherwise, I stay out of the kitchen!
