Hello everyone,

I have been a member since 2007 and I have wanted to lose weight since I was a little girl. I have been batteling my weight my whole life. This year I got to be the biggest I have ever been in my life. A whopping 197 pounds! I got to motivation to lost 17 pounds in a few months by working out and eating properly. I have hit a plateau and I have lost motivation. I need help from you all. I have an ultimate target weight, but I have a cruise to go on November 7th. I would like to be 150 pounds by then. Can anyone give me advice? It would be very helpful. =) I wanting nothing more then to feel good in my body and to be healthy. :bigear:

Incorrect for the most part. See, you can eat anything you want. Fats, sweets, processed, raw, organic..whatever you want. It is all about total calories. Start researching some of your favorite fast food so you know the calories in those foods. It will let you make informed choices when you do eat out. DO NOT DO! This is where this goes off the track. There is no medical or scientific proof for detox/weight loss by cleansing. Detox is disproven. Want to confuse someone claiming this works? Ask for them to define what are the toxins. They can't cause it is a buzz word. The current fad of cleansing is just that..a fad. Your body is more than able to handle your human waste.

Also, think about this real close. What is in your colon? It is what is left of your food that isn't absorbed or digested. In other words, those calories have already been taken. A cleanse can't reverse that. As soon as people like this poster says the words cleanse, you can pretty much walk away.
