I don't really have anything to say about vegetarianism, but I have a recent experience with protein that I would like to share.
I have been trying to add more protein to my diet. I've now try to eat some with every meal, and in snacks. I have tuna, chicken, sliced turkey, nuts, and milk and yogurt with the occasional hamburger. I've kept my calories the same (between 1200 and 1700 a day), but I've stopped losing weight. I work out a lot, usually burning 500 calories or more on the treadmill. The only thing I can think is that the protein is helping me retain muscle that I may have been losing before. Could that be it? Any other reason why this might be happening?
