hey!
You are right around the goal weight I am looking to lose, im about 57lbs down and the way I did it if you need anymore advice because I see some great advice above me from others
Well what kept me in check was my calorie counting. It wasn't even a way to restric myself from food it was like a guide of how much to eat of what. Before I would blindly just eat eat eat not realizing that probably one of the meals I had eaten before would cost me 1000cals in one sitting. So now I am much more disciplined and I excercise. I like to do lots of cardio specially running and I do weights to tone.
Slowly start cutting out all the bad things, maybe the first month focus on pop and energy drinks, second month focus on reducing white bread, etc. And then as time passes you will notice that you are not even craving these things anymore and it comes naturally to just pass by those food items at the store and not even notice them.
And I totally agree with the person up there that said you must allow yourself to eat at least once in a while something not so healthy. So if your a sugar nut or a salt nut....one day in the weak allow yourself to have some but of course dont go overboard. I made my cheat day saturday (duh) lol...so that day i allow myself to kinda just relax and take it easy but i really still do watch everything...and believe it or not i dont count cals on the weekend...but it's all in my brain now, I can tell you how much calories something has by just looking at it thats how much i've gotten to know foods and their fat content and calories...it's crazy how educated we get about these things when we really start paying attention.
Anywho i dont want to rant ....GOOD LUCK! :
