Okay so I don't know exactly what I did to my shoulder. There is not one thing that I can point to and say "and then I was doing this and all of a sudden.........."
I do have a doctor's appt but that is not until Monday. And I am afraid that he will want to do cortisone shots. I don't really want to go there if it is not totally necessary.
It just started hurting last week at work. Just a little bit at first but now it seems like it is constant. When it really gets going it feels like my arm could fall outta the socket.
You know like Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story!!! LOL
Actually it only feels like that after it "pops". Man when it does that I could just scream and let the tears flow. It hurts that bad. My poor kids must think that mommy is losing her mind. Because like 2-3 times a day I cry out and then cover my mouth while biting my hand to stop from crying out anymore. I don't want them to see me in that kind of pain.
Anyhow what I would like to know is what can I do for it besides Icy Hot and Aleve?
I am limiting the motion of it somewhat. Only because it doesn't seem like there is really just one motion that hurts.
It does seem to hurt the worst when I have to *embarassing* pull my pants up. Or fix my shirt. You know when you feel your shirt riding up so you grab it to pull it back down. For some reason bending my wrist in like that and then trying to pull down really hurts my shoulder. Go figure.
Anyhow just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions to help me out until I can get into the doc.
Oh I do have to work this weekend. And that involves me using my arm almost constantly in a circular motion. I drive a stand up fork lift and my left arm controls my turning abilities. So I can't very well "not use it".
TIA for any ideas.
I appreciate it very much!
