Hungry

Yesterday I ate:
Applesauce with granola and orange juice for breakfast, not a single serving of applesauce, maybe like 2 or 3... I didn't measure
Mozzarella string cheese
Tuna casserole (maybe 2-3 cups)
Serving of nuts
Cranberry/blackberry Northland cranberry juice
Small salad (with lettuce, feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes, oil and vinegar, pepper)
All this throughout the day, not at the same time, also had a multivitamin

I guess this wasn't enough because today I felt really hungry when I woke up -- was dizzy...

Today I ate everything the same as yesterday except I had a serving of dried apricots and an additional string cheese...

I've been drinking plenty of water, but I'm still feeling hungry so I guess I'm not eating enough. I've also been exercising, an hour yesterday and half an hour today (aerobic: cycling and speed walking)

The thing is, I just feel guilty about eating... I don't think this is healthy. I've gained weight since being in college, not much, but now I feel bad about it and I don't want to eat. Really, I didn't eat that much during the week, but on the weekends I tended to overeat and wasn't active enough. So it started to add up. My jeans almost don't fit now. I don't feel comfortable in my own skin. Maybe I'm just insecure... I weigh 125 lbs and I'm 5'4", but I'm out of shape so I don't look as good as I could. I just want to feel good about myself again.

So what I'm really looking for is what I should be eating to alleviate my feeling of hunger but still inspire weight loss. I don't want to lose a lot of weight, 5-10lbs.. no more than 10. I plan on exercising (aerobic) for half an hour to an hour a day, and pretty soon I'll be working at Sonic as a carhop again so I'll be on my feet delivering food all day. I don't want to faint on the job.

How many calories do you have per day? Times your weight by 10 and try to eat this amount of calories. Make it good foods that you eat like carbs, whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and work out too.

You shouldn't be hungry, if you are.. just eat. You need to eat to be able to lose weight. You need to fuel your body in order to burn it off.

Try foods that keep you full, like..
White potatoes, egg whites, oatmeal, beans, fish, chunky soup, apples, beef, salad, popcorn.

Good luck :)

I notice you dont have very much meat in your diet, except the tuna casserole. The way you eat now should be similar to how you want to eat for the rest of your life. I think you could use a good cookbook. This is the one I use and its great.
