Hundred Pushups.

I'm a little worried, hah. I did a boxing class at the gym last night and when we were doing combination punches the trainer told us if we made mistakes we had to do 5-10 pushups at the end of every combination run.

I ended up doing about 20 by the end of the night, so no real rest for Week 1 Day 2 tonight!

Ok, after a build up of 4 weeks, I am finally able to do 18 pushups!!!

So now I am going on to Week 3 of the program... :hurray:

I would like to try the 100 push ups plan....question though: I was thinking I would do the push-ups on the opposite days as my gym days, but then if I worked out my arms the day before that would mean I dont get a rest day right? Or would you say it counts as working the muscles in a different way than weights would? My other option would be to do it before I leave for the gym.

What would you do?

You could also do it AT the gym... that's what I would do... either that, or just before or after. I DO believe rest days are important for your muscles.

I started my challenge. Unluckily for me, I played on a 100 ft. Slip-n- slide the two days before and I was SO sore. Anyway, all I could manage was 14 push-ups. They were not regular ones, but I was not up on my knees either. Hard to explain.

Anyways, I am anxious to see how this goes.

Wooohoo! I can do a whole 6 pushups now! (real ones!) That's after 6 weeks of building up to 20 knee pushups.
