hula hoop

I have hulahoop at home and i have been doing this for a month now, i want to loss weight and decrese my waist line too. Do you know about this? This
hula hoop is made from steel a little heavy and its fun in fact i love it.. everyday i spend 15 - 20 mins just hula hoopping. Do you really think this is a good kind of exercise?

Sure, it's good exercise. But is that all you're doing? To really lose that weight and reduce your waist size you should have a solid nutrition and exercise plan in place.

I love hula hooping. In one of the classes I teach I make all the ladies hula hoop. It breaks the ice and is a great conversation starter. It's a cardio workout. Do you feel a raise in your heart rate?

It isn't sufficient for losing body fat or increasing ab strength though. To do that you need a kick butt eating plan and full body strength training routine. I'd still hula hoop for fun though :)

hula hoop fitness

I know that everyone has individual results, but for me hula hoop has been a wonderful part of my fitness program.

I started hooping about two years before becoming pregnant with my thrid child and from the hooping, I was in the best shape that I have ever been in. All I did for my form of exercise was hoop! And then I hooped all throughout my pregnancy and remained in better shape than I had with my second child. Now I am hooping post partum. I have been documenting my results online in order to inspire other women who are in the process of reclaiming their bodies after pregnancy- as I know it can be a long, discouraging journey at times. :)

Also, I teach hula hoop fitness classes, and I will say that many of my students, and myself included, have noted wonderful weight loss and toning from hula hoop fitness, so I would have to say, that from my experience that it is for way more than just fun! And it toned my abs- I had a 6-pack for the first time in my life- and not one sit up was done- ONLY the hula hoop!

Hope this helps!

I used to do hula hooping classes a few years back. They can help to tone muscles but to see any muscles, you need to lose body fat. To lose body fat, you need to cut your calories and up your cardio (sweat inducing exercise). You wont see abs with hula hooping alone although itd better then doing nothing/sitting in front of a computer/playstation.
