Hows this?

I know this is in the female forum, I guess weight loss shouldn’t be a factor for men. I was just seeking some comments on my current workout and eating habits.

Breakfast: I eat some peanut butter crackers, fruit (usually an apple), and some yogurt.
Snack: ProLab Lean Body Matrix (meal replacement shake)
Lunch: Either Chicken, Beef or Fish with pasta salad
Snack: ProLab Lean Body Matrix (meal replacement shake)
Dinner: 2 hard boiled eggs, Toast w/ peanut butter, and some milk
Workout: I do HIIT on the Elliptical Sunday, Tuesdays, and Thursday followed by an abs workout. On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday I do Cardio followed by Weight training. I rest on Mondays.
Snack an hour after workout consists of a cup of noodles, some peanuts, and 2 Nutter Butter cookies.

I am in the military, currently in Afghanistan. My work day is a total of 12 hours so the only time I have to work out is after work. Also, I work the night shift so; when I am getting off they are serving breakfast for my dinner. Any improvements you can give me would be appreciated.

Not bad at all. You could probably stand to replace one of the protein shakes with some other "real" food. But I do not know what you have available to you over there.

One other suggestion... typically you want to strength training first and then do cardio. This way you can give all of your power and strength to lifting weights. You are safer and can push a bit harder this way.

When you do cardio first, you are working with semi-tired muscles for strength training.

Good luck.
