So, to start things, I'm 15. Going to be 16 in three weeks. NEED to lose weight. 5'2 and 133.4 lbs. I'm a Queerleader. :p I have horrid anxiety. Guess I came here to be held accountable for my weight loss. To know results are expected from someone other than myself. Also! I have dyslexia, so disregard my spelling/grammatical errors.

Your estimated BMI puts you just in the normal range. Just wondering how much weight you feel that you "NEED" to lose hun?
 
I understand that BMI can be inaccurate which is why I said "estimated BMI".

Feel free to surf the forum for guidance. There is a lot of good advice to be found here.
 
Yes it is true that BMI can be inaccurate but usually only for those who carry more muscle than the average person of which I am an example (also 5'2). If you think you carry a lot of muscle you should be measuring bodyfat% to get a better idea of what you actually may or may not need to lose. The other thing to consider is that BMI does not apply to people as young as you are, there are paediatric charts for your age group.

20 lb seems a little unrealistic.
 
In my opinion, someone your age should focus on healthy nutrition and regular exercise, without focusing on achieving an exact weight. If you start to focus on it now, you will end up making your anxiety even worse. You are likely still growing, so your body will be trying to put on weight as you're trying to lose it. Also, as you grow, your 'healthy weight' will change. If you focus on healthy nutrition and regular exercise, you'll start to see positive changes in your body shape - just don't drive yourself crazy trying to achieve a 'target weight' :)
