Hi my name is Jerry, pleased to meet you all.
I'm trying to stick to a diet and lose weight. I had the idea to find a place like this on the internet to maybe make some friends and maybe make a hobby out of it
I'm currently 5'11, 26 years old, and 350ish pounds.
Ive tried diets before, but not seriously. I either cave and break them or just seem to forget that I'm on them lol.
The lowest weight ive been since I was 18 is 318 pounds, highest is 365.
Ive trained for stamina before, Im sort of an amateur boxer, but never worked out with the idea of losing weight. I used to jog 5 miles, do an hour of cardio then stop at Wendy's on the way home from the gym and eat 5 burgers. That was at 318 pounds. Then I got a 12 hour a day job and pretty much quit working out. A few months back I went into a fight horribly out of shape at 366 pounds, I was doing maybe 3 miles a week and 2 hours of cardio and eating whatever I wanted. Plus my job wasent very physically demanding(Prison guard) Naturally I got beat up pretty bad and knocked out.
That inspired me to at least make minor adjustments. I started ordering water at restraunts, even though I was still eating buffet. I started back jogging, 2 miles a day. I did 10 miles the other day to see if I could. I'm at 350 pounds now. Cardio is fine, never out of breath unless I work at it, I feel like a healthy agile person, just blown up.
So for the first time im gonna try dieting and take it seriously and here I am and thats my story.
