How to PREVENT excess skin?

Hello,

I am planning, and am losing weight.

My initial weight was 230'ish. I am 18 years old. 5'10 is my height.

Now, I want to be at a healthy weight... I am eating healthy to limit myself to the right amount of calories, I use the treadmill at least 5 times a week, and I use the bowflex around 3 times a week on average.

Now, what else should I do or change so in the end I will not have any excess skin?

What are good things to do to prevent the excess skin?

Read around the forum a lot - this question has been asked and answered many many times.. make friends wiht the search button - it will help you...

You don't have a lot of weight to lose and you're still quite young..

if you lose weight at a reasonable rate (1 percent of your body weight a week ish)
Do some strength training
eat healthily
Hydrate

you shoudl be fine...

your genetics dicate a lot of how your body responds though...

But -- cross that bridge when you come to it
