how to lose 30 pounds in 60 days

hey yall! soooo. during the winter ive had some depression issues, and with school and work i had no time for myself, i had gained 40 lbs of fat and i felt horrible, my face looked puffy , i had absolutely no definition whatsoever, i was a blob of fat! a little after spring , at the start of the summer, i finally decided that i didnt wanted to turn into that careless lazy person , living in front of the computer was just no life for me! i felt like i was skipping trough life! So! i then decided it was time to lose weight! and guess what, after 2 months of intense exercise and a healthy diet, i lost a smashing 30 pounds of fat. and gained 5 lbs of muscle! and it felt like a breeze! My secret.....

-discipline (i wake up at the same hour everyday, i do not drink alcohol nor smoke nor take drugs of any kind, when i party i drink water or orange juice)

-cardio!!! every morning i do at least two hours of walk, at first it was 30 minutes but then it grew profgressively, now i can do 4 hours of fast walking and its a breeze! cardio makes you feel great, trains all your muscle and is the best fat burner

-do no starve yourself!!! starving yourself send your body into famine mode, wich keeps the zones wich youd like to lose weight first, such as the belly, the buttock, from going away. If, on the other side, you eat a big breakfast, a normal dinner and a small supper, you body is sure to be fueled troughout all the day

-exercise in the morning! it will make your body lose calories troughout all the day as it is wanting to heal itself and grow muscle.

-dont eat refined sugar, eat fruits, dont eat pasteries, eat whole wheat cereals.

-DRINK WATER, i cannot stress how much water is vital to keeping your energy level high and stable, always carry a bottle of water

-dont weight yourself too much, some days youll weight more and then the next day youll have lost 2-3 pounds, the body is always changing, dont worry, just trust what you see in the mirror.

-Dont eat heavy meals after 7, unless its a snack like berry or an apple, or a glass of milk to help you sleep

-wake up early! i find its the best way to stay focused, during the day yo also dont feel like sitting in front of the computer so much, it keeps your up and running!

-make it a lifestyle, not a temporary diet!!! think about it all the time! change your lifestyle, make it fun, make it your new passion, do it for yourself and to help you feel better about yourself, not to impress that new girl or boy youve just met. although it could be a plus :p

-tell yourself you can always get better! ( i stille have 5 pounds to shed! but im more motivated than ever!)

-combine cardio training with muscle training, because cardio burns fat short-termly but muscle do it all day long because they need calories and food to build up so they take a part of the calories you consume

here are some picture to show you my journey, in the first on i weight 195, halfway trough my weight loss, in the last ones i weigh now 177 lbs!

Hey.
Congrats on your success, you can clearly see the difference.
Also, good advices you left and motivation, so thanks for that too. That's also the amount of weight i need to loose and get to a healthy weight and hopefully feel better about myself, and i was planning on doing it in 2 months as well, so your thread is motivation for me and a little like a guide from someone who did what i want to do ( i just hope my plateau breaks soon because is really messing with weight loss plans).
I wish you continued success in this change, and im sure you will have it.

Great post, I'm doing those things already so considering I'm still 'just starting' It's encouraging. Now I just need to step up my exercise & like you said NOT weigh myself daily! Great job & inspiration, thanks :)
