I gotten home from BCT and AIT Aug 2012. i came home @ 152lbs and since i hurt my knee badly, my cpt told me not to do any pt until my knee gets looked at. Well, i ended up loosing 31 lbs. And I've been eating healthy, but i still havent been able to gain weight? Whats the best way to gain 30lbs in 4 weeks? I was told by many friends to try whey protein. But looking online, I read that it doesn't help you gain weight? is there any thing out there that is health for me to take to gain the weight bck?

Eating protein alone wont do much, you need to eat protien a lift weights. If its only your knee thats bad you can do a full upper body weights routine.

Ingest clean calories and stay away from sugary protein drinks. A lot of people recommend healthy shakes combining protein powder, flax seed, frozen berries, almond or low-fat milk, and natural peanut butter. You'll get the protein and extra calories without fat and sugar.

Here's a helpful article from the Mayo Clinic that talks about gaining weight healthily and eating good calories.

Good luck!

30 pounds in 4 weeks, depends what this weight needs to be I guess.
Muscle, not a chance, even the most un-natural body builder injecting growth hormone, testosterone and everything else imaginable would not be able to do this. If you want to regain muscle be realistic, train and eat a balanced diet with minor calorie surplus.
Fat, still a stuggle if fair. 3,500 calories a pound means you would need a calorie surplus of 3,750 a day everyday.
So if you want to gain 30 pounds in 4 weeks I would suggest eating lead shot for the whole day before last, your weight will be perfect, but you will die the next day.
Sorry if this seems a bit silly but the idea of being able to eat you way to that sort of gain safely is not sensible and I don't believe in suggesting the impossible.
