How to flatten my lower stomach?

I'm sure this is a frequently asked question, especially with women. I'm not fat or overweight, but I wouldn't be considered skinny. I'm pretty average. Like most females, I have a small lower stomach. It's not a major problem, but like any girl, I would like to have a flat stomach. I've read some posts and advice on excersises and it seems that crunches aren't all that effective. Are there any exercises I could do or maybe some changes in my diet that would help tone my stomach? Thanks for any suggestions. :)

Unfortunately, doing crunches is only half the battle. You may have strong abs (even a six pack) under that layer of fat, but without a decent amount of cardio and a sensible diet, you'll be stuck with that blah looking tummy. Without a lot more information about your diet and excersise plan it is impossible to suggest ways to improve you midsection.

Doing specific ab workout will only strengthen the muscle. It does nothing to burn off the body fat that sits between the skin and the muscle. In order to lose this layer of fat you must follow a low fat diet and do regular aerobic exercise.

wanna loose stomach but NOT weight

I am a lean, tall but kinda curvy girl...I dont wanna loose my curves but I need to get rid of the fat on my stomach...is it possible to loose fat from one area?????

Just starting out on a workout plan...dont wanna lose a lot of weight..just tone up the fat on my stomach..what type of exercising should I do? Just cardio??

.just tone up the fat on my stomach..

You can't tone fat. It's fat.

Trying to lose fat from just one area is called spot reduction, and it's a total myth.

You can either build muscle, or burn fat off to reveal the muscle underneath. However, you have zero control over where the fat burns from, regardless of what exercises you do.
