Hopefully someone can advise me on how to do a "cut"... I have been lifting off and on for about a decade now and never really had any formal training. I have read a half-dozen different fitness and diet books and am in decent shape. My abs are definitely firm and there is a slight degree of noticeable definition but I want more. At my high point (before appendix burst last year) I was benching 275, cardio 3 days a week and a comprehensive lifting plan twice a week. My general plan now is regain what I've lost bulk up to at least where I was before and then I would like to do a cut. I fairly strictly follow the tenets of the Abs Diet but am open to all ideas from people who have actually tried what they suggest. All advice appreciated!
