Hi, I'm looking for advice - I am possibly undergoing jaw corrective surgery which will mean rewiring for 8 weeks and no solid foods - I am currently on a health regime trying to lose a lot of weight anyway and am going to be taking juice plus and soups etc when i undergo this surgery, which will mean a very low calorie intake - how can i continue to lose weight after this surgery without gaining back as soon as i eat solid foods again? I dont want to go through all this hard work just to gain it all back thanks to surgery!! I certainly wont want to be sticking to liquids once the wires come off. all advice would really be appreciated!!

you can increase your calorie intake by adding things like protein powder to your shakes so that when you go back to solid food, there will be no change in calories. The problem with a low calorie diet, is that it can't be maintained because it's not healthy. So, when you go back to eating a healthy amount, you will put weight back on based on the calories that you consume. If you are gaining too much weight, than the normal calorie intake is too high or you need to add in more exercise.

are you kidding me? Drugs? Yea, that's definitely not the answer. Long term success never comes in the form of a pill
