How Often and What Do You Do For Workout?

I do the Treadmill, 7 days a week, for 4 miles for an hour a day on speed 3 and incline 6, what do ya'll do?

I do 45 minutes of aerobics 4 mornings a week. I do the treadmill for 30 minutes on Fridays, the day the class isn't held. I do weights/treadmill on the weekends...well, I try to do the weights  Usually at least 30 minutes on the treadmill Saturday and/or Sunday. Edit: I do walking on the treadmill, usually around 3.5, no incline. I have foot issues so the incline has a tendency to bother my feet and I hate running.

5 to 6 times a week.

Every other day walking for 45 minutes with weights. I walk about 4 miles. When weather doesn't allow a walk, I'll do tae bo.

The other days I alternate between upper and lower body excersise. Some weight lifting mixed with circut training.

I do weights 3 times a week (monday wednesday friday), cardio 3 times a week (tuesay thursday saturday) and pilates once a week (wednesday). I don't know if it's enough or too much or just right. I feel great so I guess thats a good sign..
I can't wait for spring and some warm weather so I can go run or rollerblade outside. I'm also thinking of getting back to horseback riding (I used to love horses and everything about them). But that just a wish I've been having for some time now. I really hope it comes true!

Recently switched from treadmill to the elliptical.

6-7 days a week I do 45-60 on the elliptical. On the four days I lift weights I warm up with 10 mins on the elliptical, then weights, then elliptical.

I do 30 minutes a day on an exercise bike, in the morning, before I've eaten. Within that 30 minutes, I stop every 5 minutes and do reps of push-ups/sit-ups on alternating days. The speed/incline is inconsequential. All that matters is that your heart rate is in the "target heart rate" zone for 20 straight minutes during that time. If I do that, especially before I eat, it speeds up my metabolism all day. Combined with eating low-cal (1200-1500) I've found that it works great for me.

I run 5 miles per day 5 days a week normally m-f try to avg around 7 minute miles and not over doing it.

After I hit up the oliptical for 2 miles

Core work outs....

and normally a good 20-30 mins of plyometrix good for hockey.

and finalyl Im on the ice 3 days per week.

Im not much of a runner- so I do 1 15 minute mile a day.
I do weights for about an hour or so 5 days a week... usually chest/tri back/bi etc.
I also do 10 situps between excercises. I found that considering I cant do 50 situps just laying down, that its not as hard if I split them up between excersies and I still achieve the same end result
I also take EAS Muscle Armor and EAS Phosphagen Elite- dont know if its working yet... too soon to tell

I walk roughly 3 miles per day (it's both up and down hill, here in the middle-of-nowhere Arizona) and reward myself by renting a movie or something like that.

After that, I come home and box for maybe 30 minutes, it's sort of cardio and strength training I guess, don't know what I'd classify it as, but it's fun and releases the stress (I know right, a 15 yr old stressed, boy do WE have it bad).

After that some sit ups if I can muster, and some curls with weights. I finish off by using one of those exercise bands for leg and pec exercises.

I allow myself 2 days out of a week to NOT exercise. It's a 'forgiving' exercise regime apparently, works well for me, especially on those days when I just feel a bit.... BLEH. :puke:

Right now I'm only power-walking/jogging 5-6 days a week for about an hour/5-6km each evening. Once I go to Uni I shall be going to a gym, and reading some of these posts is giving me some suggestions. :)

Since this month:

I walk 1/2 hour to work and 1/2 hour from work 5 days a week.
Cardio on treadmill or eliptical 3 x per week for 30 mins and light weight training 3 x per week.
I also stretch every morning and evening.

M-W-F Weight Training 6:30am-7:30am (College Course)
M-T-Th-F-S Swim Laps variable times
T-F Help Wife with Weight Training (Can't afford a trainer so am trying to teach her what I learn in class)

Trying to add more Cardio to the mix.

Whatever moves me...

Morning,

I generally do some combo of:

P90x
Karate kicks
30 minutes cardio

I've found out that having a schedule doesn't always work - sometimes I'm just in the mood to do something different. When that happens, I do TurboJam, Taebo, etc.

Always be willing to turn on a dime.

Enjoy,

Barbara

I do the treadmill, 5-6 days a week, for 4 miles+ for an hour a day on speed 3.5 and incline 3.5 or 5.8 on the same incline, or 5.8 leveled. I use to walk 3.5on inclines 10-15, but it would irritate my knees so I had to decrease the incline substantially. Thankfully, I can still burn the same amount of calories by doing more extensive running.

I work out about 4 times a week, but I try to aim for 6.

I switch it up between the treadmill (I'm running at 7 mph now!), ellipticals (precor, life-fitness, and cybex), and the stair-master. I lift weights about 3 times a week.

7 MPH? That's great!

On good days with a strong wind behind me (very difficult in the gym, I might add), I can run at 5mph for more than 12 seconds. 7mph sounds very impressive.

i do about 30+ min of walk around the neighborhood on my lunch break at work. I do it about 3 times a week since its insane cold here in Canada on certain days. In past few weeks I have been doing some push ups and crunches at home from time to time and thats about all I do when it comes to workout. I play some sports also every now and then but not that often. All this is really not considered like a work out but I thought I post it. I will be going to gym really soon since my weight loss has been slowed down.

wow, 7mph on a treadmill. that's wild, I can't do more than 5.5 on mine. its so weird since I average 6.5 on the street.

It has taken me FOREVER to work up to 7 mph! When I'm done my hair looks like I just took a shower - it's so nasty!

It is strange, though, that you don't go as fast on the treadmill as you do when you're out on the street. I'm speaking in general terms, not just you, daybyday! The same thing happens to me.

Being outside is 100% more fun than running on a treadmill and I can't wait for spring!

5 days a week I do the eliptical for 30 mins and then the treadmill for 15 (speed at about 3.3 and incline at 9)

I am in week three right now and haven't worked out any less than 4 days a week but I am shooting for 6. The hard part is Saturdays.

I also walk about an hour everyday outside, weather permitting.
