How much?

hi, i'm a 14 yr. old female, 5'6, 115 lbs. I'd say I'm moderately active. I don't want to lose weight, but I want to lose some fat on my butt/thighs. So my question is, how many calories/fat grams/protein should I eat a day? Also, what are the best exercises for me to do? Running is out of the question-- at least for right now. I can go walking, I have a weight lifting machine (a very big one), I can go swimming... so please let me know! Thanx

First things first. You dont want to do any extremes here, like calorie defincency or a lot of cardio because this will cause you to lose weight (muscle, water, and fat). What you want to do is tone your buttock area. I would recommend starting a weight lifting program. Here is a great site that shows you some thigh exercises: THIGH EXERCISES. Now in terms of cardio and diet. I wouldnt change anything about your diet plan if your currently eating right. Dont worry too much about calorie intake if your weight is stable. (Just if your curious, you should be eating atleast 1600 calories and thats if your NOT doing any exercise at all). The only thing I suggest is eating a bit more protein if your going to start lifting weights. Fat grams dont worry about too much just eat health foods and youll be okay. Swimming is excellent if you can do that also cycling is good too. Good luck and remember time and patience is important to be successful. :D

I agree with Waz.

I was 115 throughout high school, too - way too skinny - definitely don't be concerned with calories/fats/carbs/etc. Eat healthy, whole foods and eat enough (I think far more than 1600, though) and you'll lose the fat on your lower body. WEight lifting will definitely help.

Alright im gonna agree with spockafina and change my initial post and say that your should get close to 2000 calories with MINIMAL exercise.
