How many calories each sport burns

There ´s been an eternal discussion about which sport burns more calories. Of course there are differences between each sport, based on the type of physical effort each sport requires to perform.
Who hasn’t ever discussed about this, “ the best way to burn fat is swimming”, “the best way to burn fat is jogging” and so on…
So let’s see how this works, you only have to know your weight, and time the duration of the physical activity. Let’s see how this formula works:
Swimming burns approximately 0.032 calories per minute, and let´s say you weight 75 kg and swam for 30 minutes.


The resulting formula will be like this:
0.032 * (your weight * 2.2) * duration of the activity = approximate amount of burned calories
Replacing the values with the ones from the example:
0.032 * (75 *2.2) * 30 = 158.4 calories
In case you want to use the formula in pounds then you do not have to multiply your weight by 2.2:
0.032 * (154) * 30 = 158.4 calories

To make things clear, let´s see an example:
If a man that weights 80 Kg rides a bicicle for an hour, he will spend : 80 x 60 x 0.100 = 420, then a 10% (42) less if it´s a woman, so the result would be 378 calories.

Hi, so far I've known, and also experienced, the best sport to lose weight fast really is swimming. Also a lot of cardio. But while doing swimming you burn calories also just for staying in the water, so that you keep your body temperature up.
