Sport How do you store your chicken?

Sport Fitness
Hi, how do you store your chicken?
Will you cook it first then store it or will you freeze it and cook it when you need it? which way is better?
IMO: if you cook it first then store it, that will save time, because you can cook a lot at the same time, and when you need it just recook it again, but it doesn't taste good anymore , does it?
If you freeze it then you cook it when you need, well , that take time, especially when you need to wait for it to defreeze,( I don't like to use microwave, since there is a lot of bad comment about it).but it taste really good, and may I assume that because the nutrition is still there?
Please give me your opinion, I am new here
Thank you ,

i personally cook it at the begining of the week and store it. i put it on salads though so i dont reheat it, i just cut it up cold and throw it on there.

I personally prefer the convenience over the taste of fresh cooked. But it all depends on where your priorities lie. If you have the time to cook it each time, then throw some in the fridge the night before so its thawed when its time to eat.

I usually cook mine the night before for the following day. Once in a while I will cook a bunch ahead of time and freeze it. In either case, I do not cook it all the way through, this way when I throw it in the microwave, it will finish the cooking process and not over cook it and dry it out. I hope this helps ya.

I'm with LV.. I buy 12-15lbs (freeze most of it) and once and cook enough to last me a week leaving left overs in the fridge 'til I eat 'em.

I buy all my meat from my butcher every 2-3 days. I ziplock it in the fridge if im not cooking it that day.

NOTE - dont cook meat from the fridge. Leave it out to breath for an hour before cooking it. otherwise the inside is cold, and to cook it thru will take longer making the outside tough. So for really tender steak and chicken, cook it quickly from room temp.

I'm exactly like LV too. Cook about half a week's worth of chicken at a time, along with a couple steaks that'll end up being 4 servings of red meat and 6-8 chicken.

but my wife also eats properly so we go thru stuff fast. (like protein waffles, she usually makes two batches, 8 servings worth, and we freeze those in ziploc bags, then quick thaw and put in the toaster)
