how do you do goodmornings?

yeah i already looked it up on google, but iv seen and read some people saying you should go paralell with the floor, and some where they only go 45 degrees and push out the butt.
i also ready that you should be able to do a goodmorning with 60% of your squat 1rm...and if that be true, going paralell with over 160lbs on your back sounds pretty dumb. it will rip your neck off!:costumed:

Go as low as you can with good form. That's a pretty good rule of thumb. Of course, you could experiment with different depths, but I'd try to just get as low as possible at first.

Don't go for x% of any other lift, the good morning is it's own lift, it's own movement.

Always with cheer in my heart and a smile on my face :)

Seriously though, I'd go with Karky on this one; it'd be dumb to work out the weight as a % of squat. Treat it as it's own lift, start light until you're comfortable you've got the form right and then increase weight to whatever feels challenging for that movement.

what sucks with every lift except squat, bench, and dead is that there isn't a lot of info on the .net about how to do them. You could try to youtube it or something, but then you never really know who of those guys know what they are doing if you don't know what you are doing.

I use this place the most

Hip Exercise Menu

I like that site to find exercises for different muscle groups, but as a form guide I don't think it's comprehensive enough.
