How do I stop myself from binging?

Hi all, I need help. How do I stop myself from binging? I'm good for a while then every 3 days I binge on food like I will never eat again...
 
Maybe you're being too strict with your diet. Probably you feel deprived, or your body is missing something it's not getting... For me that was the main reason. "Balance" and "Moderation" changed everything in my case, and I stopped having binging sessions since.

There could be other reasons, but that was my experience with binging.
 
Binges occure when your body is in deficit of vitamins and essentials nutriments, so it make you crave for food ! Binging is a sign of a bad diet. It won't happen when you have a balanced diet.
 
whats your diet like?

Well, I have been vegetarian since 2004 and i try to restrict my calorie intake daily to less 500-1000 calories, although most days, would be about 600-700 calories. The foods i normally eat dont change much.

For breakfast, lunch, or dinner, i will have things such as oatmeal (160 calorie instant pack) with soymilk or non fat milk, 1 toast with peanut butter or butter, or 1-2 bowls of Special K/Fiber One cereal. I haven't been able to cook at all for months because i have NO kitchen right now. It's being remodeled. I dont have a stove, just a microwave. Mostly, I restrict EACH meal to no more than 300 calories each.

Although, i think that was why i binged that day. I burned off 700 calories at the gym and only ate 700 calories BEFORE my binge. when i binged, I ate about 1100 calories in one sitting by binging on Fiber one and Special K Cereal and ice cream, PLUS 4 mochi balls (which are 113 calories each) Yikes!

I WILL be better!
 
Well there is your problem. Your body is in starvation mode because you're eating WAY under the recommended calorie intake.

If you up your calories you're body won't be starving and cause you to binge eat.

Also, you need to add more protein. Whether it's a protein powder or something like that
 
I agree with Jen whats your height and weight so we can better help you with you calorie intake... your calorie intake is in the anorexia area i believe"anything under 900" i might be wrong.....

Hi primevci. I am 5'2 and now I am 108 pounds.
 
your in normal weight much more and you will be under weight

not sure on your age but i jsut put 22 in this is what u should be doing

Maintenance:
1884 Calories/day
Fat Loss:
1507 Calories/day
Extreme Fat Loss:
1130 Calories/day

that was with 3 days a week working out here is a link to a calculator that u can fill in yourself

lol sorry i did make a mistake and had it set on male the proper ones would be
for female
